The current process often requires one individual to pay the full booking fee upfront, resulting in complicated tracking and settling of reimbursements.


User Pain Points:

  • 60% of users found the pricing details confusing.

  • 45% abandoned the process when tasked to enter payment details.

  • Users expressed frustration over hidden fees and cancellation policies.

Airbnb app will let users book accommodations with a "split with guests" payment option on the 'Reserve page'

It allow users more flexibility while booking accommodations to split the payment with other guests and avoid the cumbersome task of tracking and settling payments later.
