Contributed as a UX researcher & designer to understand users content preferences, discoverability expectations, and perceived barriers to supporting creators on such platforms.

Low confidence in discoverability.

Keeping KPI's in mind we needed a clearer images on how currently users navigate through the platform. To gather on that data we conducted user interviews, usability audit & competitor analysis. Our users echoed with these 3 major issues directly impacting engagement & discoverability

Key findings:

  • 5/6 users find it challenging to discover new creators.

  • 80% of users rely on platforms like YouTube for quick & easily digestible content.

  • Improved content preview and creator information features could encourage users to explore new creators.
